My stay at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge was nothing short of magical. The amazing views over Lake Kariba and the spacious, luxurious rooms made it feel more like a villa than a typical safari lodge. The staff went above and beyond, and while the dining experience was good with amazing food, I felt a bit rushed at times.
The rooms were absolutely stunning and felt more like villas, offering very nice vistas over the lake, with elephants and hippos often visible from my balcony.
The staff were welcoming and incredibly attentive, particularly Jaison and Cherish, who made sure every detail was looked after during my stay.
The location is lovely, nestled in the African bush with sweeping views of Lake Kariba and wildlife including elephants and buffalo grazing daily.
Dining was enjoyable, with a variety of delicious meals available, though I sometimes felt the communal dining setting could be a bit overwhelming after a long day of activities.
The facilities were luxurious and perfectly integrated into the surrounding nature, offering both relaxation by the pool and wellness in the spa area.

I recently spent an extraordinary time at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge, which really exceeded all my expectations. The stunning location overlooking Lake Kariba added to my experience, and the great service made me feel right at home. The only drawback was that my stay was not long enough to fully enjoy all the luxurious offerings.
My room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a small balcony overlooking Lake Kariba where I could watch elephants and bush bucks stroll by. The private outdoor shower added a unique touch, making me feel connected to nature.
The staff was amazing. nothing was too difficult for them. From the moment I arrived, I felt well-cared for, with a warm African welcome that included cool towels and refreshments. They really went above and beyond to make my stay special.
The lodge is perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Kariba. the views from every angle are just amazing. I loved watching the sunrise while enjoying breakfast outdoors at the lodge.
Dining was a social affair with a communal setup. I truly enjoyed the communal dinners, accompanied by singing and dancing. The meals were exquisite and beautifully presented, highlighting the skill of Chef Trevor and his team.
The facilities were really good, with a lovely pool that offered stunning vistas of the lake. The range of activities available, (like game drives and fishing), was well organized, enhancing the overall experience.

My stay at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge was absolutely extraordinary, with stunning views over Lake Kariba and great service that made me feel like royalty. The luxurious accommodations provided endless vistas of elephants and hippos right from my balcony. While I wished for more options at dinner, the overall experience-including the very nice safari activities-was lovely and left me wanting to return.
The rooms were pure luxury, with spacious layouts and private balconies offering stunning views of the lake and the wildlife on the shores. Waking up to the sights of elephants and hippos was an experience I'll never forget.
The staff were really good, treating me like family throughout my stay. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they even prepared the Bream fish I caught during one of the water safaris. It's clear they truly love what they do.
The lodge's location is amazing, perched high on the shores of Lake Kariba. The panoramic views from the infinity pool and various lounging areas are awe-inspiring and perfect for capturing those Instagram-worthy moments.

My stay at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge was an extraordinary experience. from the stunning views of Lake Kariba to the really good service by the staff. The rooms were luxurious and meticulously clean, and the culinary offerings were simply divine. The only minor setback was the communal dining, which may not suit everyone's taste. but overall, I left Bumi feeling rejuvenated and completely satisfied.

I just had an amazing stay at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge! The views overlooking Lake Kariba are amazing, and the lodge itself is designed with comfort and style in mind. I loved the range of activities offered, from safari excursions to relaxing spa treatments. However, I did wish the dining experience could be slightly faster; it occasionally felt a bit slow during peak hours.
My room was spacious and beautifully decorated in African style, with a large bathroom, outdoor shower, and a terrace that opened up to stunning views of Lake Kariba.
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially Cherish, who anticipated all my needs and made my stay extra special.
